The Challenge
A non-profit organization for veterans needed a professional brand identity to present itself as a beacon for welfare and support within the veteran community.
Market Insights
Veterans in Satara value discipline, patriotism, and unity. The competitive landscape for NGOs is cluttered, so we needed a symbol of authority and duty. The ‘Aha!’ moment was incorporating the colors of the three services (Army, Navy, Air Force) to ensure inclusivity.
The Strategic Solution
The brand’s voice is ‘Authoritative yet Compassionate’. The core concept is ‘The Beacon’, representing the organization as a guide and protector for those who have served.
Design & Execution
The logo uses the Indian Tricolour and the specific colors of the three services. The design elements mimic military embellishments combined with a ‘fire’ motif to represent the drive for welfare. Stationery includes letter-pads and office-holder business cards.
The Results
Qualitative: Strengthened the sense of pride among members. The professional branding helped the organization gain legitimacy during meetings with local government officials.
